Let's see...well first off my name is Tamara(which mean plam tree in hebrew) and I was born and raised in San Antonio TX. I am 20 years old I will be 21 on January 17th. I am a junior this year, my major is psychology and im minoring in sociology. I enjoy both subjects very much, I find both so interesting to read and learn about. Im not sure what I want to do in psychology yet, im thinking of going into either family and marriage counseling or clinical psychology. 
I LOVE ducks!!! I collect duck stuffed animals and nick knacks and anything else i can find with ducks on it. I've never had a pet duck but I want one someday. I love all sorts of animals. I have two cats four dogs and a new hamster named Charlie. I like to read, my favorite book is the DaVinci Code. I love mysteries and suspense books. As far as movies I love comedies and some scary movies now and then. My favorite colors are blue, yellow, and pink.
I really like the beach, it is my favorite spot to relax. I usually go to Corpus Christi several times in the summer for vacation. I want to go to Hawaii someday!!
I am really looking forward to this class it seems like a nice change from the common traditional history class. In high school I never cared much for history but since I started college I have become really interested in history as in the way it affects people and their everyday lives. I think about those in the past and what it must have been like to live in those different eras. I enjoy looking at how history affects our everyday lives and how we learn from events that have happened in the past.
